Job Description:

This person will contribute to the company’s success by performing a wide variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products.

Essential Functions:

• Performs a variety of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly operations on mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end products in a repetitive nature


• Follows an engineered assembly process, but may require the ability to adjust, fit, or align parts


• Uses hand tools such as long nose pliers, screw drivers, soldering irons, and wrenches


• Maintains consistent quality and productivity levels


• Uses Microsoft Office programs


• Identifies problems and contributes to process improvements


• Performs some hand soldering on electronic assemblies


• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced, flexible production environment


• Works as part of a team and collaborates to accomplish tasks


• Traversing across the production floor for the duration of their shift (up to 12 hours).


• Able to transport up to 25 lbs.


• Other duties as assigned


• Ability to work overtime as needed

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior or relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience


• No Security Clearance required

• Strong mechanical background


• L3Harris product knowledge


• Capable of identifying problems and contributing to process improvements through the L3Harris E3 continuous improvement process


• Able to read and interpret mechanical drawings and Bills of Material


• J-STD-001

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state $36,920 - $63,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
