RIGHT NOW.\n\n##### \n\nJohn Deere is an equal opportunity employer, including disabled \u0026 veterans. \n\nPrimary Location: United States (US) - Iowa - Davenport \nFunction: Factory Engineering (CA) \nTitle: Assembly ME - 120604 \nOnsite/Remote:Onsite Position\n\n## Your Responsibilities\n\nAs an Assembly ME for JD Davenport Works located in Davenport, IA, you will:\n\n * Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement projects for safety, quality, delivery, and cost\n * Lead and manage small scope capital projects\n * Establish and maintain layouts, labor standards, methods and sequence of events for assembly operations\n * Analyze, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and technologies\n * Provide support and troubleshooting for current assembly operations\n\n\n\nVISA Sponsorship is NOT available for this position\n\n## What Skills You Need\n\n * Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work effectively with salaried and wage personnel in a team environment \n * A self-starter with the ability to execute a variety of tasks \n * Experience in one of more related engineering areas: industrial, reliability, design, manufacturing, or quality \n * Understanding of manufacturing processes and working in a production environment \n * Experience with shop floor documentation (Sequence of Events, Labor Standards, and Operator Methods Sheets) \n * Ability to work off shifts and weekends if needed \n * Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases \n * Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools \n\n\n\n## What Makes You Stand Out\n\n * Experience with MPPlanner for SOE and OMS development \n * Experience working with incentive pay systems, especially gainsharing programs such as CIPP (Continuous Improvement Pay Plan) \n * Experience working in a union environment \n * Experience with JDAAT MES systems , machine diagnostics \n * Experience with torque tooling \n * Experience with AutoCAD and Creo View software\n\n\n\n## Education\n\nIdeally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:\n\n * Bachelor\u0027s degree in engineering/technology discipline or equivalent related work experience \n(Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical engineering preferred) \n\n\n\nWhat You\u0027ll Get\n\nAt John Deere, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
