Position Summary

As an Assembly Operations Supervisor, you will be the driving force behind a fast‑paced, high‑precision operation that directly supports our aircraft catering success. You will lead and inspire a frontline team responsible for assembling catering carts with dry goods, beverages, crew meals, and service items; verifying accuracy using visual diagrams and dispatch sheets, and walking the line to ensure quality and readiness. You will ensure kitchen ready times are consistently met, ensuring seamless handoffs to downstream departments. Each day, you will conduct team huddles, align staffing, manage labor hours and timecards, and track performance indicators.  With a strong focus on safety and compliance, you will uphold all regulatory requirements including DOT, OSHA, FDA, and USDA while championing a culture where safety and excellence go hand in hand. You will also play a key role in shaping the future of the department by implementing operational improvements, optimizing labor and resources, and fostering accountability. What You’ll Do

• 
  
  Lead and inspire a team of union employees in a fast‑paced, high‑volume production environment.
  
  


• 
  
  Ensure on‑time, accurate production and flight catering, keeping daily operations running smoothly and efficiently.
  
  


• 
  
  Conduct daily team meetings to align priorities and reinforce safety.
  
  


• 
  
  Partner closely with culinary, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure seamless coordination across departments.
  
  


• 
  
  Maintain full compliance with DOT, OSHA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMP, and all food‑safety and regulatory requirements.
  
  


• 
  
  Track labor usage and productivity to meet cost targets and support financial goals.
  
  


• 
  
  Monitor safety performance and proactively address issues to protect employees and maintain a hazard‑free environment.
  
  


• 
  
  Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the assembly department.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.


• 3+ years in assembly, distribution, or high-volume production operations.


• Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced environment.


• Strong knowledge of DOT, OSHA, FDA, USDA regulations.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics/fleet management systems.


• Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for team development.
