Assembly Technician

Assembly Technician – Jacksonville, FL

Position Summary:

Talent Source is seeking multiple Assembly Technicians for a hands-on, physically demanding role supporting electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations. This position involves working in a ventilated production environment with provided training and requires the ability to lift heavy components regularly. Technicians will support daily production activities including transducer handling, wiring, cable dressing, and basic hand-tool work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform electronic and electro-mechanical assembly using hand tools and production equipment

• Follow technical specifications, work instructions, and safety procedures

• Test, move, remove, and replace transducers as directed

• Conduct cable dressing using zip ties for corrosion prevention

• Make adjustments and setups according to blueprint tolerances

• Participate in daily safety briefs and maintain a safe work environment

• Identify and escalate issues in straightforward situations

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to consistently lift up to 100 lbs, including overhead

• Experience using hand tools (wrenches, pliers, sockets); personal general tools required

• Ability to follow written procedures and complete tasks on time

• Strong reliability—must arrive on time consistently

• Team-oriented with solid communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic assembly or mechanical experience

• Experience in similar industrial or manufacturing environments

Schedule & Compensation:

• Pay: $20.00–$22.00/hr

• Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday (5/8s)

• Possible overtime with approval

• Temp-to-hire opportunity for strong performers

• Onsite in Jacksonville, FL
