About the Role


The Assessor role at Talogy in the US manufacturing centre of excellence (CoE) is responsible for being onsite for a large manufacturing client, and administering/proctoring assessments for pre-employment selection. The person in this position serves a critical function in driving the delivery of our manufacturing services to clients, and ensuring the highest levels of customer service direct to end users. They ensure safe, consistent test environments for all job candidates, and facilitate testing sessions by the book.


Assessors are expected to work onsite, during core hours and days relevant for their site, but will need to be flexible if ever required to work outside of normal hours for client projects.


Role Responsibilities



  • Consistently reads orientation, assessment, and closing scripts to group of candidates according to standardized procedures.

  • Conduct interviews with and without client support and make hiring decisions based on guidelines provided.

  • Conduct role play assessments with internal and external candidates.

  • Track, enter, and confirm candidate data using client and Talogy tracking systems.

  • Help candidates understand what is expected of them.

  • Proctor computer-based and/or hands-on assessment sessions.

  • Identifies and addresses candidate unsafe behavior or misuse of test equipment.

  • Troubleshoots basic level computer equipment and works with remote helpdesk to troubleshoot higher level issues, as needed.

  • Must be willing to stand for extended periods of time and wear personal protective equipment (bump cap, safety glasses, gloves, face mask, etc.) in accordance with facility/area policy.

  • Log recruiting center activity or issues and report accordingly.

  • Maintain physical documentation and conduct basic data entry.

  • Gain rudimentary understanding of the candidate selection process.

  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and presentable work environment.

  • Provide outstanding customer service to both the client as well as the candidates.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive data.

  • Fulfil all duties with the highest degree of integrity.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements



  • Education to Bachelor’s degree level in HR, psychology, or other relevant field.

  • Previous experience in the talent management industry is desirable but not required.

  • General understanding of talent assessment and development products on the market, and willingness to learn about Talogy’s core solution sets.

  • Strong IT skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and/or Workday is ideal.
