Within Global Alternative Investment Solutions (GAIS), our Private Credit Solutions platform brings a long-tenured, multi-manager approach to private credit investing, with $47bn of capital committed, a team of 24 investment professionals, and deep market connectivity through 150+ private credit GP relationships and 80+ LP investments since inception, reflecting 18+ years of dedicated multi-manager private credit investing. 

Job Summary:
You will be a core member of our private credit investment team focused on North America private credit secondaries and co-investments. The role is designed for a transactions-oriented investor who can lead sourcing, underwriting and execution across a broad set of complex opportunities alongside leading sponsors and managers. You will partner closely with portfolio managers, investment teams, legal, tax, risk, and operational stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping repeatable processes that help scale a growing private credit platform. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:
• Source, evaluate, and execute private credit secondaries (GP-led and LP-led) and co-investment/direct opportunities across North America
• Lead end-to-end transaction execution across multiple concurrent live processes, including diligence planning, stakeholder coordination, negotiation support, documentation review (with counsel), and closing
• Conduct detailed trade- and fund-level diligence and underwriting, including analysis of underlying portfolio/company credit risk, manager assessment, structural protections, documentation/covenants, leverage, liquidity, and downside scenarios
• Prepare and present clear, high-quality investment materials (screening notes, investment committee memoranda, and portfolio recommendations) and communicate key risks/decision points to senior stakeholders/investment committee
• Partner with portfolio managers on portfolio construction considerations and post-close monitoring, including performance/risk updates and re-underwriting when needed
• Help build and refine scalable underwriting frameworks, diligence playbooks, and execution processes to improve speed, consistency, and risk discipline as the strategy grows
• Engage with internal stakeholders (including Client Advisor and Consultant Advisor teams) and participate in select client/investor discussions to articulate strategy positioning and investment rationale, as appropriate
• Mentor and develop junior team members through day-to-day deal leadership, feedback, and best-practice sharing

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

•8+ years of relevant work experience in private credit and/or related credit investing/transactions, with demonstrated ownership of transaction workstreams 

•Strong underwriting background across corporate and/or structured credit, including ability to evaluate documentation, covenants, structural protections, and downside outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to drive complex, time-sensitive processes with multiple internal and external stakeholders (legal, tax, risk, operations, counterparties, and advisors)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to synthesize complex situations into crisp investment conclusions and present to senior stakeholders/investment committee
• Commercial mindset with strong judgment and relationship skills; comfortable engaging with GPs, intermediaries, and internal partners
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple simultaneous priorities
• Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
• Direct experience executing private credit secondaries (GP-led and/or LP-led), including continuation vehicles and/or fund restructurings
• Direct experience underwriting and executing private credit co-investments/directs (e.g., sponsored direct lending, opportunistic/special situations, asset-based structures)
• Familiarity with portfolio construction and the role of private credit within diversified alternatives portfolios and evergreen/registered fund contexts
• Experience building or improving investment processes (templates, diligence checklists, monitoring frameworks) in a scaling platform environment
• Series 7 and 63 certifications are preferred
