Assists by following recipes for all meals and ensures that consistency and accurate quantities are used during food preparation.
Assists the Head Cook with food and kitchen supply inventory.
Ensures kitchen areas are clean and sanitized at scheduled frequencies.
Operates a “Point of Sale” (POS) system, if necessary.
What you’ll need to be successful:
Must have Wisconsin food handlers’ course and “Serve Safe” certification or obtain within 90-days of hire.
Availability to work afternoons, early evenings and weekends, if necessary
Must have a valid, clean driver’s license and be and be eligible for coverage under the Tribe’s insurance
Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens
FCP complies with all CDC vaccine and testing recommendations for healthcare professionals. Proof of immunizations is required and immunizations/testing provided upon hire for individuals working at the Caring Place kitchen.
Preferred qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience cooking in a commercial kitchen environment preferred
