Shift Length: 4 hours
Standard Hours: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM, breakfast served at 8:00 am
Ski Season Hours: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM, breakfast served at 7:00 am
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Arrive early to prep ingredients and bake/cook high-quality breakfast items for guests.
- Lay out and maintain the buffet breakfast selection throughout the service window.
- Label and communicate allergy/special dietary needs foods clearly.
- Brew coffee and have hot water available for tea/hot chocolate.
- Examples of prepared breakfast items include: scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, bacon.
- Restock coffee and tea stations throughout the morning.
- Keep fridge items, snacks, and beverage stations fully replenished for the day ahead.
- Communicate any low-inventory items or kitchen needs to leadership.
- Greet guests warmly and exhibit a high standard of hospitality and professionalism.
- Interact with guests during breakfast, answering basic questions about Timberholm and the surrounding areas and making them feel welcome.
- Address guest inquiries or dietary needs during service with care and professionalism.
- Coordinate closely with Hannah on any special requests or guest/inn concerns.
- Resolve minor guest issues and escalate to the leadership team when necessary.
- Efficiently handle all breakfast cleanup, including washing dishes, sanitizing cookware, and clearing tables.
- Mop the kitchen floor and thoroughly vacuum the Great Room after service concludes.
- Ensure all remaining food is properly stored, labeled, and put away according to food safety standards.
- Coordinate regularly with Hannah/broader team on critical guest and inn related items.
- Support a positive, communicative, and team-oriented work environment
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Valid state issued driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Basic computer skills
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
