POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Branch Installation Manager with paperwork, installation and customer service issues, and recommendations for ensuring the resolution of the same in an efficient and timely manner.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Assist Installation Manager evaluate jobs for installation and customer service issues.
2. Assist with installation duties and supervise Installers in the absence of the Installation Manager.
3. Communicate with the Installation Manager and make appropriate recommendations for resolution to identify concerns and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
4. Review job paperwork.
5. Measure customer cabinets in Cabinet Vision.
6. Make necessary templates for countertops for material orders.
7. Inspect installations to ensure jobs are being installed according to company standards.
8. Conduct service calls to repair any kitchen remodeling installation issues.
9. Ensure company vehicles are serviced regularly, maintained in good working conditions, and kept neat, clean and secure always.
10. Maintains a valid drivers’ license and a clean record to operate company-owned vehicles.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
1. Help monitor company materials and supplies to ensure they are being used appropriately and efficiently.
2. Assist with installer training.
3. Assist with all installation/service functions of the assigned territory, including inner personnel communications, scheduling and customer relations.
4. Where applicable, oversees cabinet shop, including building of cabinets and trains Cabinet Maker/Helper in accordance with company build sheets and policies.
5. Completes installs as needed.
6. Assist Manager in communicating, exercising, and enforcing compliance of all company policies and procedures, as well as ensuring compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations.
7. Performs other job-related duties as assigned to meet business needs.
ABILITIES AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must be able to drive a vehicle for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours per day).
• Must be proficient in reading & writing, using the English language
• Must have the ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must have the ability to work independently
• Must have competence with computers & other electronic office/business equipment
• Must have a sense of urgency and react quickly and decisively to the needs of the business.
EDUCATION AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED): or job-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Will be subject to a background check, MVR check & drug test.
Must complete installation training prior to assuming responsibilities. Must be at least 21 years of age.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a valid driver’s license. Must have Lead Renovator Certificate.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to work in all types of environments under all types of weather conditions.
