Job Description - Assistant Manager / Leasing

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Property Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a multifamily community. This role combines leasing, resident relations, and administrative responsibilities while supporting property leadership in maintaining strong occupancy and efficient operations.

What You’ll Do

Manage prospect inquiries, conduct property tours, and follow up throughout the leasing process.

Process applications, screenings, lease agreements, renewals, and required documentation.

Coordinate move-ins and move-outs and work closely with maintenance regarding unit readiness.

Assist residents with lease-related questions, requests, and concerns.

Maintain accurate resident and leasing records in property management systems.

Support resident retention and renewal efforts.

Assist with outstanding balance follow-up when required.

Support property reporting and other daily administrative and operational needs.

Ensure compliance with Fair Housing requirements and established policies.

Support property leadership in achieving occupancy and overall property performance goals.

What We’re Looking For

1–2 years of experience in multifamily property management, leasing, or a similar role.

Knowledge of leasing processes and Fair Housing requirements.

Strong customer service, sales, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with property management software is preferred.

English and Spanish proficiency required.
