Assistant Parts Manager

Woody Buick GMC in Naperville is Chicaogland’s largest GM Dealership.  We are a family-owned dealership focused on customer satisfaction and community.  We are seeking an Assistant Parts Manager capable of smiling through the phone, and eager to provide exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining inventory consistent with the requirements of the various departments


• Assist with monitoring and adjusting inventory


• Guarantee all parts are properly tagged


• Supervise parts counter and staff


• Supervise stock order procedures


• Work closely with service manager and body shop manager to ensure timely turnaround of parts needed


• Provides technical assistance when necessary


• Develop and enforce guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction


• Enforce safety requirements


• Maintain a professional appearance

Qualifications:

• Technical automotive knowledge


• Computer literacy


• Good communication skills 


• Basic understanding of inventory and reporting


• General Motors parts experience preferred
