Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a Transplant Infectious Disease physician to join a growing, highly specialized academic program focused on solid organ transplantation. Clinical Environment
Practice at East Jefferson General Hospital (LCMC Health), one of Tulane's primary academic teaching hospitals. East Jefferson is a 420-bed regional referral center recognized for its commitment to quality, patient safety, and clinical excellence. The hospital has earned Magnet Recognition® for nursing excellence and an 'A' Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group.
The transplant service includes a dedicated 12-bed Solid Organ Transplant Unit supporting kidney, liver, pancreas, heart, and LVAD patients, with continued expansion of advanced transplant services, including future lung transplantation programs. The program is supported by a dedicated CT-ICU and a growing multidisciplinary team of transplant specialists.
