Overview

An established property management company is seeking an organized and customer-focused Assistant Property Manager to join our team. This role supports the daily operations of our property management team through resident and owner communication, administrative support, property inspections, and coordination with maintenance vendors. We are looking for a dependable, team-oriented professional who is eager to grow their career in property management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with owners, tenants, and vendors in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with resolving resident and property-related issues and ensure appropriate follow-up.
  • Conduct property walks and assist with showing units to prospective tenants or clients.
  • Maintain accurate records, updates, and tasks using property management software.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and communicate with vendors regarding work orders and scheduling.
  • Support leasing, move-in, and move-out processes.
  • Assist with general office administration, including filing, data entry, and correspondence.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements (Must-Have)

  • 1+ year of property management, leasing, customer service, hospitality, administrative, or related experience preferred.
  • Experience with property management software is preferred; Yardi experience is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office 365.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
