Job Description - Assistant Property Manager - Apartment Community

GROW your career with Monarch Investment, one of the top 10 multifamily owners in the country, owned by a family who truly cares about our people! Monarch Investment is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our Forest Park Apartments in Kansas City, MO.

Location:
Forest Park Apartments
4623 NE Winn Road
Kansas City, MO 64117

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Responsibilities:
-Assists the Property Manager with all on-site property operations 
-Ensure tenant renewals are being captured at the highest rate possible
-Responsible for building and maintaining a resident relations program
-Ensures property is leased at or above market occupancy at proper rent levels by showing and leasing apartments
-Assists Property Manager in ensuring all property marketing is current, accurate and at its greatest effect

What We Need From You:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years' experience in multifamily housing industry
- Experience in an Assistant Property Manager position preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
- Customer service experience required
- Sales experience a plus
- Must have excellent computer skills
- Have excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong multitasking abilities

This role requires pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check, drug screening, and credit review.
