What You'll Do

As the Assistant Store Manager, you'll help lead store operations while ensuring customers receive the exceptional service they expect from Kwik Stop. You'll work closely with the Store Manager to maintain operational excellence, support team development, and create a positive workplace culture.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the day-to-day operation of the store


• Supervising and supporting team members during shifts


• Providing outstanding customer service and resolving customer concerns


• Maintaining accurate inventory and financial records


• Monitoring cash handling procedures and store security


• Training, coaching, and developing employees


• Ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards


• Assisting with scheduling and staffing needs


• Stocking merchandise and maintaining store presentation


• Helping manage food service operations and product quality


• Promoting a positive, productive, and team-focused work environment

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency and experience using point-of-sale systems

Experience in convenience store, retail, food service, or hospitality management is a plus but not required.

This is a full-time position based in Dubuque, with primary availability needed for 2nd shift operations. We understand the importance of work-life balance and strive to provide scheduling flexibility whenever possible while meeting business needs.
