ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT FOR STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
Provides leadership in the planning, administration, and evaluation of a comprehensive program of student support services including special education, Title I programs, Title IX, Community Schools, health and wellness, student discipline support, pupil personnel, school counseling, school health, social work, and school psychology. The Assistant Superintendent will also assist principals and school staff in seeking appropriate resources to support students, and will collaborate with directors, supervisors, principals and student services staff to support principals and other school personnel in working with students who experience personal, medical, and social emotional issues that prevent the attainment of academic success in the classroom setting.
