Founded in 2012 by brothers John and Jeff Inch, Inch & Co. has grown from a small local builder into an award-winning family of companies — earning recognition as one of Central Pennsylvania's fastest-growing companies by the Central Penn Business Journal in 2022. Headquartered in York, Pennsylvania, we take an integrated approach to real estate — spanning land development, design, construction, management, and long-term investment — so that quality and purpose are built into every detail.
You’re Role in the Blueprint:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Superintendent to support and lead on-site operations in coordination with the Project Superintendent and Project Manager. What You’ll Build:
Work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to execute the project plan, providing daily on-site leadership to field crews and subcontractors
Coordinate and oversee assigned phases of construction from start through closeout, managing workflow, sequencing, and manpower to support the project schedule
Read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure accurate execution — identifying and resolving field issues quickly to avoid delays or rework
Conduct daily huddles and communicate regularly with the Superintendent and Project Manager on progress, challenges, and solutions
Monitor quality of work to meet company and client expectations
Enforce jobsite safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance
Track materials, equipment, and deliveries to support uninterrupted workflow
Maintain an organized, professional jobsite and perform hands-on carpentry, finish work, and punch list tasks as needed
The Full Package:
Health insurance options (medical, dental, vision)
401k Retirement plan with company match
Paid Holidays and PTO
Paid training and professional growth potential
Your Foundation:
5+ years of commercial construction experience with prior foreman or lead experience required
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage crews and hold accountability
