Assistant Supervisor; Day Camp

What you get to do: 
This role is responsible for planning, teaching, and evaluating the implementation of Camp curriculum and program schedule while creating and maintaining a safe Camp environment. Additionally, the candidate will:

• Responsible for performing job duties/tasks of positions within scope of supervision
• Establishes and maintains a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of ambassador performance and guest service while enforcing and complying with safety procedures and guidelines
• Supervises, trains and counsels ambassador while ensuring proper training and development in accordance with SeaWorld guidelines
• Complies with area opening and closing procedures and ensures all ambassador complete tasks within a timely manner.
• Help counselors identify and respond to camper behavior issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate with parents daily about participant’s experiences and report any issues to Camp leadership.
• Know and understand all emergency policies and procedures associated with Camp programs.
• Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines associated with Camp and all program areas. This includes but is not limited to being responsible for camper’s safety and their whereabouts at all times.
• Assist in maintain accurate program records including incident reports, counselor documentation, and daily attendance.
• Takes responsibility for the maintenance, inventory and organization of all Camp supplies, equipment, artifacts, and program areas used in daily operation. Informs the Camp Supervisor when supplies or equipment need to be ordered or replaced.
• Assists in ensuring all daily program needs are met including preparing supplies and program areas for counselors and campers.
