Assistant Technician

Role and Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain water heater systems in residential and commercial properties


• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with water heater systems, including gas, propane, electric, and tankless models


• Perform routine maintenance on water heater systems to ensure proper functioning and efficiency


• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when working with gas and electricity


• Communicate effectively with customers, answering questions and providing recommendations as needed


• Document all work completed, including parts used and time spent on each job


• Keep a clean and organized work area, including the service vehicle


• Report to assigned job location timely and professionally


• Maintain accurate inventory on truck


• Maintain professional image


• Work on-call as scheduled

Expectations:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record


• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials


• Strong problem-solving and communication skills


• Ability to work independently and in a team environment


• Flexibility to work on-call and outside of regular business hours as needed
