Associate Attorney

THE702FIRM seeks an experienced attorney who excels in the courtroom and possesses the strategic mindset needed to maximize client recovery. The ideal candidate will manage a diverse caseload of personal injury matters from initial consultation through trial, with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Handle all aspects of personal injury cases including client intake, case evaluation, discovery, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial


• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies to maximize client recovery


• Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts


• Draft and argue substantive motions, including motions for summary judgment


• Conduct thorough legal research and prepare persuasive legal memoranda


• Negotiate with insurance adjusters and defense counsel to secure favorable settlements


• Represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings


• Mentor junior attorneys and paralegals


• Contribute to business development efforts and firm marketing initiatives

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school


• Active Nevada Bar membership


• 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience


• Strong knowledge of Nevada civil procedure and personal injury law


• Exceptional deposition and trial skills


• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities


• Detail-oriented with superior analytical and organizational skills


• Client-focused with excellent interpersonal abilities
