With nine clinic locations and over a decade of federal contracting experience with the Bureau of Prisons and U.S. Courts, DTR is a recognized leader in integrated mental health and substance use disorder treatment for underserved communities.



The Role


We are hiring a dual-credentialed Associate Clinician / Substance Abuse Counselor for our Inglewood office. This is a unique opportunity to work in an integrated clinical role — delivering both mental health therapy and SUD counseling to justice-involved clients within a structured federal treatment framework.


You will carry a blended caseload of individual and group clients, collaborating closely with U.S. Probation and Pretrial Officers, Bureau of Prisons liaisons, and our clinical leadership team.

Full–Time Employee Salary Annual Range: $30.00 - $40.00


 


Core Job Responsibilities



  •  Conduct individual therapy sessions (1 hour) and facilitate CBT-based group sessions (1.5 hours) weekly

  • Complete clinical intakes including the Addiction Severity Index (ASI) and establish diagnoses

  • Develop and update treatment plans quarterly; complete monthly progress reports and discharge summaries for federal supervising officers

  • Communicate regularly with U.S. Probation/Pretrial Officers and BOP case managers regarding client progress and attendance

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in  (EHR) system

  • Attend required supervision, staff development, and in-service training



Essential Requirements



  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, MFT, or a related behavioral health field

  • Active California associate registration — AMFT, ACSW, or APCC (in good standing)

  • Active CADC-I/II or SUDCC-I/II certification

  • Minimum 1 year of counseling experience, including SUD counseling

  • Proficiency in Cognitive Behavioral Treatment (CBT)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office



 Schedule



  • Flexible schedule Monday-Friday, evenings, and weekend shifts available



  • Expected hours per week: 40
