The Associate Director of Southwest Iowa Foundations serves as the Foundation’s lead representative in Southwest Iowa, responsible for growing philanthropic impact, strengthening community partnerships, and advancing regional engagement.
The position builds and maintains relationships with donors, professional advisors, nonprofit leaders, businesses, and community stakeholders to identify charitable giving opportunities and support new fund development. Working closely with advisory committees, donors, and internal teams, the role drives regional strategies, oversees grantmaking and scholarship activities, and ensures Foundation priorities are effectively advanced throughout Southwest Iowa.
This position also provides leadership in community engagement, business development, and relationship management while monitoring emerging trends and opportunities that inform regional and Foundation-wide decision-making.

Environment
The primary work location is 1120 S. 101st Street in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is expected to work primarily from the office, with occasional flexibility to work from home. This position also requires regular travel throughout a nine-county region in southwest Iowa to support meetings, events, and community engagement activities.
