National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) is a 133-year-old Jewish feminist civil rights organization working for equity and justice for women, children, and families in the United States and Israel. With 250,000 grassroots advocates and 45 local sections, we combine education, direct service, and advocacy to create lasting social change.
We approach our work through a Jewish, gender, economic, and racial justice lens, centering those most impacted. Our deep partnerships across progressive, faith-based, and governmental spaces reflect our intersectional values.
NCJW is at a transformational moment, guided by a bold new strategic plan. Our audacious goal: engage one million changemakers nationwide to improve the lives of women, children, and families. To reach that goal, NCJW is making important adjustments to its structure, strategy and staffing. This role is a part of that vision.
Position Summary:
The Associate Director, Operations is NCJW’s operational anchor — ensuring that the systems, processes, spaces, and logistics that power our mission run seamlessly every day. This role drives efficiency, coordination, and structure across the organization, managing everything from technology and office systems to logistics for major meetings and events.
Blending strategic insight with hands-on execution, the Associate Director will design and implement systems that help our staff and board work smarter, streamline project execution in collaboration with teams, and ensure NCJW’s operations reflect our values of equity, excellence, and care.
The ideal candidate is a process-oriented leader who loves solving problems while designing order out of complexity — someone who sees logistics as mission-critical infrastructure and approaches operational work as a way to empower staff and strengthen organizational impact.
