Job Description: 


L3Harris is a leader in providing advanced technology solutions, and we are currently seeking a proactive and motivated Network Control Intern to join our operations center team. This internship will offer hands-on experience in network management, monitoring, and troubleshooting within a dynamic 24x7 network control environment.



  • Monitor and analyze network problems using network management and monitoring tools.

  • Respond to network alarms to minimize disruptions and impact on end users.

  • Assist in root cause analysis and contribute to developing action plans for service restoration.

  • Collaborate with L3Harris teams and external telecommunication partners to optimize operational processes and restoration times.

  • Participate in coordination with User Community, Field Services Group, and telecommunication partners for Break/Fix actions and Change Management activities.

  • Document Trouble Tickets and Change Requests related to network activities.


 


Qualifications: 



  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a focus on Networking, Cybersecurity, or a related field or have completed their Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.    


 


Preferred Skills:



  • Interest in LTE and VPN technologies.

  • Eagerness to apply IP networking knowledge to real world experiences.

  • A commitment to maintaining high service levels in a customer support environment.

  • Certifications such as CCENT, CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA, or ITIL v3/4 are advantageous but not required.

  • Basic understanding of L1 through L4 of the OSI Model.

  • Familiarity with LAN/WAN/MAN technologies.

  • Knowledge of Incident, Change, and Problem Management practices is beneficial.
