ASSOCIATE NURSE MGR-FLOAT POOL

Position: Associate Nurse Manager-Float Pool\n\nDepartment: Premier Nursing Staffing Pool\n\nFacility: Miami Valley Hospital\n\nShift: Full-time 12:00pm-10:00pm/ 80 Hours Per Pay\n\n \n\nThe Associate Nurse Manager has responsibilities for a functional area of patient services and must \ncollaborate with others to achieve strategic objectives for system, hospital, and unit. Assists in communication \nof system, hospital, division and unit vision and goals, develops a team of highly skilled staff, and ensures \ncost effective and efficient use of resources for optimum outcomes. Practice is consistent with applicable \nlicensing board, regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. The Associate Nurse \nManager, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, directs and oversees the functions of the patient care \nteam.\n\nEducation \nMinimum Level of Education Required: Bachelor\u0027s degree \nAdditional requirements: \n\u25aa Type of degree: Nursing \n\u25aa Area of study or major: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing \n\u25aa Preferred educational qualifications: Masters Preferred \n\u25aa Position specific testing requirement: N/A\n\nLicensure/Certification/Registration \n\u25aa Valid Ohio RN License \n\u25aa Current CPR \n\u25aa ACLS and PALS required or must obtain within one year from date in position.\n\nExperience \nMinimum Level of Experience Required: 1 - 3 years of job-related experience \nPrior job title or occupational experience: Progressive leadership experience \nPrior specific functional responsibilities: Minimum 2 years experience as an RN in, at minimum, an Advanced Care (step down) setting. \nPreferred experience: Critical care experience \nOther experience requirements: N/A\n
