Attorney - Several Practice Areas

Hinman, Howard & Kattell, LLP is seeking attorneys with 3+ years of experience - other levels of experience may be considered - for our main office in Binghamton, NY. Candidates with general practice experience or specific experience in the areas of litigation, labor and employment, business and corporate law, trusts and estates or real estate are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide guidance to clients on practice-focused matters.
• Draft and review documents, pleadings, closing documents and other written instruments.
• Legal research on subject matter issues.

There will be substantial client contact as well as interaction with other firm attorneys. Travel to branch offices depending on client needs is required. The position offers an opportunity to assume significant responsibility and hands-on experience in a collaborative, sophisticated and team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

Candidates must have excellent oral and written communication, computer (including Microsoft Word and Excel), problem solving, multitasking, and organizational skills, strong analytical and research skills and attention to detail. Must also be highly motivated and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team.

Candidates must be admitted to practice in New York or able to waive into the NYS bar.
