The Auction Specialist is primary support to both management and auction teams, detail oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 years experience in a customer service or auction role
Hold or be willing to obtain Sales Person certification within 90 days if location is a dealership
PRIMARY DUTIES
Provide backup to the Office Receptionist in greeting and assisting in-person customers, and in answering and directing telephone calls
Assist with monitoring and responding to messages through the general email inbox for the location
Utilize email, messaging platforms, and other communication tools to effectively communicate with customers and employees
Accept payment from customers via cash, check, or credit card
Assist management with auction operations, accuracy, and courtesy call documents
Support Auction Lead in completing catalog descriptions, and with on- or off-site auction tasks
Perform administrative support tasks
Assist management in the coordination of inventory transfers between locations
Maintain A&D log to ATF standards as required for the FFL license if location is an FFL
Accurately organize, prep title, and maintain title logbook, if location is a dealership
Must be proficient with extensive use of modern technology, including AI-assisted tools, in daily job functions
Travel to off-site auctions as needed for cataloging, open house, or loadout
