Audiologist Fulltime Days Position Summary


Evaluates, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of Audiology.  Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation.





Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive audiologic evaluations for patients of all ages
  • Conduct and interpret vestibular testing, including VNG (Videonystagmography), VEMP and CDP
  • Diagnose hearing and balance disorders and develop treatment plans
  • Collaborates with and makes recommendations to referring and primary care providers and the treating Physical Therapists 
  • Provide patient counseling on hearing loss and vestibular conditions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
  • Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards


Qualifications
  • THE AUDIOLOGISTFULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

    LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION

    Required: Active Arizona Audiology License (or eligible)

    EDUCATION

    Required:  Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D)

    WORK EXPERIENCE

    Required: Minimum 1 year of clinical Audiology experience

    Required: Experience with vestibular assessments and VNG testing
