Job Description


Assists in the speech and audiology testing of patients. Performs screenings on newborns, under supervision and maintains documentation of all patients in database.


Job Responsibility


 



  • Performs inpatient and outpatient newborn hearing screening under supervision of audiologist.

  • Assists audiologists with pediatric hearing tests.

  • Documents encounters in patient database.

  • Provides clerical support, as needed.

  • Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.


Job Qualification


 



  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • 0-1 years of relevant experience, required.

  • 1-2 years Audiology background

  • Hospital or healthcare experience

  • Current enrollment in a speech-language or audiology program
