Audit Senior Accountant

AUDIT SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (Permanent)
Our client, an established local CPA firm in WNY, is looking to hire an Audit Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity in their North Towns location with room for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Perform audit responsibilities from planning through execution for a wide variety of clients across many industries
  


• Prepare and reconcile financial reports
  


• Ensure all financial statements are prepared in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
  


• Develop positive professional relationships with clients, working directly with them to gather necessary financial information
  


• Collaborate with other team members to ensure the preparation and review of audit documentation is completed in a timely manner
  


• Handle client inquiries/issues by offering educated answers and resolutions in a timely manner, escalating issues as necessary
  


• Manage multiple audit projects at a time, possessing the ability to move from one to another with ease
  


• Ensure compliance is maintained at all times, remaining up-to-date with audit regulations and industry trends
  


• Work well in a team environment as well as independently
  


• Work well in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  


• Other duties as assigned/as necessary
  

Details:

• Position is full time, direct hire
  


• 100% in-office:
  




• Standard 40 hours/week
  


• 60 hours/week during tax season (February 1^st – April 15^th) with mandatory Saturdays
  


• 36 hours/week over the summer with flexibility
  




• $75,000 - $100,000 annually depending on experience
  


• Bachelors degree in Accounting or similar
  


• CPA license, or active pursuit of, preferred

• 3+ years’ audit experience
  


• Proficient computer skills
  


• Strong organizational and time management skills
