Public accounting at a large firm often means being a small cog in a very large machine. A full service CPA firm in Addison, Texas with offices across the Dallas Fort Worth area and a nationwide client base needs an Audit Senior who wants to lead engagements, mentor staff and build real client relationships without getting lost in the bureaucracy of a Big 4 shop.

You will lead day-to-day fieldwork on audit and attest engagements, supervise staff and interns, perform risk-based testing and complex audit procedures, review financial statements and client deliverables and serve as a key client contact from planning through completion.

What you need to bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field


• 3 to 6 years of audit experience in public accounting


• CPA license or active progress toward CPA licensure preferred


• Strong understanding of GAAP, audit methodology and workpaper standards


• Experience with closely held businesses, nonprofits, governmental entities or employee benefit plans is a plus


• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and audit software such as CCH Engagement, Guided Assurance, Suralink or Checkpoint preferred


• Must be based in or within commuting distance of the Dallas area
