Auto Body Painter

Seidel Hyundai is seeking a skilled Auto Body Painter to join our team in Reading, PA. This role involves preparing and painting vehicle surfaces to achieve high-quality finishes that meet our company standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to craftsmanship, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, and priming surfaces


• Mix and apply paint according to manufacturer specifications and company standards


• Assess paint jobs for quality and consistency, ensuring a smooth finish


• Collaborate with the body shop team to meet production timelines and customer expectations


• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean and organized manner


• Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

Requirements

• Previous experience as an auto body painter or in a similar role


• Proficiency with painting tools and techniques, including spray guns and paint mixing


• Strong attention to detail and color matching skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods


• Knowledge of safety practices related to auto painting
