Auto body technician

Haddad Collision Center is seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Body Technician to join our team in Pittsfield, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodies to their original condition, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Inspect damaged vehicles and determine appropriate repair methods and materials


• Use hand and power tools to straighten body panels and remove dents


• Replace damaged parts such as doors, fenders, and bumpers


• Perform welding, sanding, and finishing work to prepare vehicles for painting


• Ensure repairs meet company standards and adhere to safety procedures


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment


• Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure timely completion of repairs

Requirements

• Proven experience as an auto body technician or similar role


• Knowledge of collision repair processes and materials


• Ability to operate body repair tools and equipment safely and efficiently


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


• Ability to work full-time in Pittsfield, MA
