Automation Tester

Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer and Tested (aka Automation Tester). The Automation Tester performs both functional and non-functional testing of the records management solution. They will implement automated tests, create test cases, test scripts and test plans, and perform manual functional tests when required.

Automation Tester Responsibilities:

· Detail objectives, scope, and approach for performance testing, describing the process to be used to verify new or changed components meet performance requirements.

· Design automated tests to validate functionality of applications.

· Create test designs, write scripts, report results.

· Conduct tests for systems, networks, applications, databases, software, hardware, integrations.

· Write clean, high-quality scripts that test functionality automatically.

· Design and execute QA tests using these scripts. Identify bugs and quality issues in development and processes.

· Collaborate with teams, test overall system, identify test conditions and features to test scenarios and documentation.

· Perform thorough regression testing.

· Evaluate, propose and help implement improvements to automated testing strategies and toolsets that result in increased efficiency and reduced risk.

· Use of testing metrics and metrics to target process and efficiency improvements.

Automation Tester Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.

· Experience with writing test plans, test cases, and executing manual or automated test scripts

· Experience with developing and configuring automated test scripts and maintaining automated test and test environments

· Experience with configuring test scripts to support cross-browser testing

· Experience with SDLC and implementing incremental automation test scripts in an Agile team cadence

· Knowledge of automation tools, including Selenium, UFT, and industry best practices to successfully integrate in a client development environment

· Proven experience working in AWS

· In-depth understanding of coding languages (Java, JavaScript).

· Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.

· Experience using Karma for front end testing

· Experience using Protractor for back-end testing (part of Angular)

· Experience using JAWS

· Efficient communication skills.

· Strong organizational and leadership skills.
