Automotive Accounting Clerk
Join Our Dealership Team!
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Automotive Accounting Clerk to join our growing dealership accounting office. This position is responsible for supporting a variety of accounting and administrative functions while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of dealership financial records.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Post vehicle sales, service, and parts transactions
- Reconcile schedules, statements, and general ledger accounts
- Process customer refunds and dealership checks
- Assist with warranty and receivable reconciliations
- Audit deal paperwork for completeness and accuracy
- Prepare daily deposits and maintain cash receipts records
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain vendor and customer account records
- Support title, billing, and cancellation functions as needed
- Perform general clerical and administrative accounting duties
Qualifications
- Previous accounting, bookkeeping, or office experience preferred
- Automotive dealership experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable, professional, and team-oriented attitude
