Automotive Banker

Capital Automotive Group is looking for a detail-oriented, organized Automotive Banker to join our team. This role is an important part of our accounting and finance operations, helping ensure bank transactions, finance commissions, reconciliations, and reporting are completed accurately and on time.

What You'll Be Doing

• Post monthly reserve statements and daily bank transactions


• Adjust finance commissions as needed


• Issue chargeback checks to lenders


• Provide management with accurate chargeback reports


• Maintain accounting schedules and complete monthly bank reconciliations


• Complete month-end reporting for management


• Work closely with accounting and finance teams to ensure accuracy and consistency


• Meet established deadlines and manage multiple priorities


• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion


• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous accounting experience preferred


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel


• Strong organizational and time-management skills


• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines


• Working knowledge of PC operations and common business applications


• Excellent communication skills


• Experience with CDK software is a plus


• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion


• Must be able to successfully complete a pre-employment background screening
