Automotive Lube Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, filter replacements, belts, and basic brake services
  
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections
  
• Assist Senior Master Technicians with diagnostics and repairs
  
• Perform repairs within your current skill level while continuing to develop your technical abilities
  
• Identify additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings to the Service Advisor
  
• Accurately document all completed work on repair orders
  
• Road test vehicles when appropriate
  
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  
• Follow all Mazda and dealership safety procedures
  

Qualifications

• 1+ year of automotive experience in a dealership or independent repair shop preferred
  
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  
• EVIT, UTI, AAI, or other automotive training is a plus
  
• Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service department
  
• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
