Automotive Mechanic/Technician

Precision Tune Auto Care is looking for an experienced and dependable Automotive Mechanic/Technician to join our team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in performing quality repairs, works well with others, and understands the importance of providing outstanding customer hospitality.

Pay: $17.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience

Schedule: Day shift — closed Sundays

Responsibilities

• 
  

  Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues

  
  


• 
  

  Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling system, electrical, and engine repairs

  
  


• 
  

  Complete preventive maintenance services and vehicle inspections

  
  


• 
  

  Accurately identify safety concerns and recommended maintenance

  
  


• 
  

  Document inspection findings, repairs, and recommendations clearly

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate vehicle concerns and repair needs to the service advisor

  
  


• 
  

  Complete repairs correctly and within an appropriate timeframe

  
  


• 
  

  Perform quality-control inspections before returning vehicles to customers

  
  


• 
  

  Properly use and maintain shop tools and diagnostic equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized

  
  


• 
  

  Follow all company procedures and safety standards

  Treat customers, coworkers, and customer vehicles with care and respect

  Help provide a professional and welcoming customer experience

  
  

Qualifications

• 
  

  Previous automotive repair experience is required

  
  


• 
  

  Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities

  
  


• 
  

  Experience with brakes, suspension, steering, maintenance, and general automotive repairs

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to accurately diagnose problems and recommend proper repairs

  
  


• 
  

  Must be dependable, punctual, and motivated

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

  Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

  Must have basic automotive tools

  ASE certifications are preferred but not required
