Automotive Sales & Finance Specialist – Credit Solutions
Position Summary
Curtis Auto Group is seeking a highly motivated Automotive Sales & Finance Specialist to assist customers with challenged credit histories while helping them purchase reliable transportation. This position combines professional automotive sales with finance expertise and focuses on customers with marginal credit, previous bankruptcies, repossessions, limited credit history, and other credit challenges.
The ideal candidate is experienced in working with subprime and second-chance lenders, understands lender guidelines, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service while helping customers rebuild their credit through responsible vehicle ownership.

Compensation:
- Competitive Compensation: $80,000-$160,000

Essential Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting vehicles that fit their transportation needs and lender qualifications.
- Conduct professional customer interviews to determine financing options and budget.
- Structure automotive finance transactions through banks and finance companies specializing in:
- Marginal credit
- Second-Chance financing
- Bankruptcy financing
- First-Time Buyers
- Limited credit history
- Credit rebuilding programs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with subprime and special finance lending institutions.
- Present financing options clearly and professionally while maintaining complete transparency.
- Ensure all federal, state, lender, and dealership compliance requirements are met.
- Gather, verify, and process all documentation required for lender approval.
- Work closely with management to maximize vehicle deliveries while maintaining profitability.
- Follow up with customers throughout the sales and funding process to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Maintain accurate CRM notes and customer records.
- Generate referrals and repeat business through exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive sales and/or finance experience preferred.
- Experience with special finance or subprime lending strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive lender programs and finance guidelines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Dealertrack, RouteOne, or similar lender platforms.
- Understanding of credit bureau analysis and lender stipulations.
- Proven ability to build lender relationships.
- Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales and finance objectives.
Work Schedule
- Full-time position
- Evenings and Saturdays required
- Flexible schedule based on dealership needs
