Automotive Sales Associate

Job Summary:
The Automotive Sales Associate at Shively Motors in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania is a full-time, salary position in the auto industry. As an individual contributor, the Sales Associate will be responsible for selling new and pre-owned vehicles to customers, while ensuring excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in a timely and friendly manner
- Understand and communicate the features and benefits of vehicles to customers
- Conduct test drives and accurately present vehicle options
- Negotiate and finalize sales transactions in a professional manner
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and maintain relationships
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets
- Stay updated on product knowledge, financing options, and promotions
- Complete administrative tasks such as paperwork and data entry
- Adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior sales experience in the automotive industry
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of vehicles and their features
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Proficient in using technology and software systems
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check
