AUTOMOTIVE SALES porter/ lot attendant

Vara Chevrolet is seeking a dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Automotive Sales Porter / Lot Attendant to support our Sales Department. This position plays a key role in maintaining the appearance of our vehicle inventory and ensuring our dealership lot remains clean, organized, and ready for customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of new and pre-owned vehicle inventory.


• Park, move, and arrange vehicles on dealership property.


• Ensure vehicles are properly fueled, charged, input all the window sticker and addendum and ready for display or delivery.


• Assist with vehicle deliveries and customer pick-ups.


• Keep the sales lot, showroom, and surrounding areas clean and organized.


• Inspect and check-in new units


• Perform routine lot inspections and report any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns.


• Assist sales staff with vehicle staging, merchandising, and inventory organization.


• Drive vehicles to buyers as required.


• Other duties as assigned. 


• Follow all safety policies and dealership procedures.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record.


• Must pass Background check, Drug test and MPVI.


• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles preferred.


• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.


• Reliable attendance and punctuality.


• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.


• Previous dealership or porter experience is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently walking, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.


• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods.


• Ability to safely operate various vehicle types.

Schedule
