Automotive Service Advisor

Chevrolet Of Troy is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Service Advisor to join our team in Troy, OH. As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact between our customers and the service department, ensuring exceptional customer service while facilitating efficient vehicle maintenance and repairs.

We will pay right for the right advisor focused on labor hours per RO

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, understanding their vehicle needs and concerns.


• Provide accurate estimates for service and repairs, explaining recommended services clearly.


• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality service delivery.


• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, service orders, and vehicle histories.


• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and foster repeat business.


• Handle warranty claims and service contract administration as necessary.


• Promote additional services and products that benefit customers and enhance dealership revenue.

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive service advising or related customer service role preferred.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to understand mechanical terminology and vehicle service processes.


• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.


• Proficiency with computer systems and service management software.


• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.


• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.


• Pass a background check.
