EXPERIENCED SERVICE ADVISORS WANTED

Chalmers Ford is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor / Service Writer to join our growing Service Department.

We’re looking for a proven dealership Service Advisor who knows how to build customer relationships, write accurate repair orders, communicate with technicians, recommend maintenance and repairs, and deliver an exceptional service experience.

We’re especially interested in candidates with experience at Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, or Ram dealerships, but experienced Service Advisors from other domestic dealerships are encouraged to apply.

COMPENSATION

$60,000–$100,000+ PER YEAR

Commission-based pay plan with strong earning potential for experienced Service Advisors.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Greet customers in the service drive and identify their vehicle needs
  
• Conduct customer consultations and write accurate repair orders
  
• Explain recommended maintenance, repairs, and warranty coverage
  
• Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally
  
• Work closely with Technicians to ensure accurate and timely repairs
  
• Monitor repair orders and keep customers updated
  
• Recommend appropriate maintenance and additional services
  
• Schedule and manage service appointments
  
• Follow up with customers after service
  
• Build long-term customer relationships and encourage repeat business
  
• Maintain accurate customer and repair information
  
• Meet department sales, CSI, and customer satisfaction goals
  

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• 2+ years of dealership Service Advisor experience required
  
• Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair
  
• Understanding of manufacturer warranty processes
  
• Strong customer service and communication skills
  
• Proven ability to recommend and sell automotive services
  
• Ability to build trust and long-term customer relationships
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume service department
  
• Strong organization and time-management skills
  
• Ability to work effectively with Technicians, Parts, and Management
  
• Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
  
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
