Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive Service Advisor/Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between customers and our service technicians, ensuring a seamless experience from vehicle intake to service completion. Your enthusiasm for automotive repair and customer service will drive customer satisfaction and repeat business, while your mechanical knowledge will help accurately assess vehicle needs and communicate effectively with clients.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly, listen to their concerns, and accurately document vehicle issues


• Prepare detailed repair estimates using estimating software and communicate options clearly to customers


• Upsell additional services or repairs that enhance vehicle safety, performance, or longevity


• Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services


• Maintain thorough records of all service transactions, including cash handling and invoicing


• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or Service Writer in an automotive dealership or repair shop


• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and repair procedures


• Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction


• Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and transparency


• Dealership experience is highly preferred; automotive service or technician experience is a plus


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
