Accepting applications for a Service Technician position at our Pawcatuck location. Our primary repair types are our own used vehicles and maintenance/light repairs for our customer base. We work on a variety of vehicle makes. No nights, no weekends! Applicants must have own tools, clean driving record, and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and similar problems on a variety of vehicle makes and perform timely repairs


• Typical repairs includes brakes, suspension and steering components, tires, and resolving check engine lights


• Maintain a clean and safe work area


• While responsible for own work, must also work well in a team environment. 

Qualifications

• Must have automotive mechanical and technical aptitude


• Must own tools required to complete automotive repairs


• Good interpersonal and communication skills


• Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs


• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems


• Positive, friendly attitude, along with a customer service mentality


• Ability to collaborate effectively


• Able to operate electronic diagnostic equipment


• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
