Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems accurately and efficiently.
- Perform maintenance, inspections, warranty repairs, and major mechanical repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- Produce quality repairs while maintaining strong productivity and efficiency.
- Complete repair orders accurately with detailed documentation.
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding repair recommendations and vehicle status.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Participate in manufacturer, ASE, and in-house training to stay current with today's vehicle technology.
- Assist and mentor apprentice technicians when appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience as an automotive technician in a dealership or professional repair facility.
- Experienced flat-rate technicians strongly encouraged to apply.
- Documented history of high production and quality workmanship preferred.
- Factory certifications and/or ASE certifications preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Personal hand tools required (specialty tools provided by the dealership).
