About the Role

Scottsdale Chapman Ford is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing heavy-line repairs, and complex vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Our technicians play a critical role in keeping our customers’ vehicles performing at the highest level through precision workmanship, and quality repairs. You will work closely with Service Advisors and fellow technicians to ensure repairs are completed efficiently and according to dealership and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, and repairs on Ford vehicles, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and air conditioning systems


• Perform heavy-line and engine repairs, including complex mechanical repairs and component replacement


• Diagnose and repair vehicle concerns using appropriate diagnostic tools, software, and manufacturer procedures


• Perform warranty repairs in compliance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards


• Communicate recommended repairs, maintenance needs, and estimated repair times to Service Advisors


• Complete all work accurately and efficiently as outlined on repair orders


• Follow dealership processes, safety procedures, and quality standards while maintaining a clean and organized work area

Qualifications

• Ford certification preferred


• Previous Ford technician experience preferred


• Previous experience performing heavy-line and engine repairs required


• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills


• Extensive knowledge of automotive systems and advanced vehicle repairs


• Ability to perform quality repairs with accuracy and attention to detail


• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team
