About the job:


  Mitchell Buick-GMC is a well-established family-owned automotive dealership and is seeking an Automotive Title/Inventory Clerk.  Candidates should have previous title processing, vehicle inventory, and/or dealership experience. Reynolds & Reynolds DMS experience is a huge plus! Responsibilities:



  • Process automotive titles and vehicle registrations efficiently, ensuring all paperwork complies with state transportation regulations and dealership policies.

  • Manage the entire life cycle of vehicle titles, including issuance, transfer, registration, lien processing, trade-ins, wholesales, dealer trades, and finance funding documents.

  • Communicate effectively with clients to clarify documentation requirements and provide updates on title, vehicle registration, and finance funding status.

  • Handle inbound emails/calls and outbound emails/calls for title, vehicle registration, and finance funding follow-up and client communication to ensure timely processing.

  • Process bi-weekly floorplan payments, floorplan transfers, and reflooring of new wholesale purchases.

  • Post monthly floorplan interest and curtailment payments.

  • Reconcile monthly floorplan statements and research discrepancies.

  • Review and post internal charges to vehicles.

  • Perform clerical and other duties as needed.


Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in automotive title processing, vehicle inventory administration, or dealership administrative roles with familiarity in automotive sales, inventory, and finance paperwork processing.

  • Strong knowledge of state transportation regulations and title procedures across different regions.

  • Excellent communication skills, including bilingual abilities preferred for diverse client interactions.

  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365; Excel skills required.

  • Reynolds & Reynolds DMS experience a plus!

  • Professional personal appearance.


 


Work Schedule:



  • M-F 8am-6pm

  • Saturdays as needed

Working Conditions:


 The business office staff works at a desk in an office setting for most of the shift.  Some walking to the main dealership building is required.  Employees spend several hours a day analyzing dealership records, posting accounts, and performing other types of tasks on computers.
