Automotive Transmission Technician

We are seeking an experienced Transmission Technician looking for a fun, friendly, and professional working environment. • $30.00 - $39.00/flat rate hour depending on experience plus monthly efficiency bonuses and a year-end bonus depending on GM training qualifications

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Transmission Technician/Specialist experience; any make/model experience welcomed!


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership


• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment


• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive transmissions


• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs


• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
