Automotive used car manager

Haddad Auto Group - Parent is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Used Car Manager to join our team in Pittsfield, MA. This leadership role is perfect for a dynamic individual passionate about the automotive industry and skilled in managing a successful used car department. You will play a key role in driving sales, optimizing inventory, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the used car department, ensuring efficiency and profitability.


• Manage inventory acquisition, pricing, and merchandising to maximize sales and profitability.


• Appraisals, trade walks, and desking on every used car deal


• Merchandising- photos, descriptions, and turn on every listing. 


• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, used car vendors, and finance partners.


• Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive in the used car market.


• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.


• Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall dealership performance, including reconditioning and cost control with the Service team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in automotive used car management or sales, preferably in a leadership role, preferably 3+ years of dealership experience


• Strong understanding of used car inventory management, pricing strategies, and sales techniques.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed business decisions.


• High level of organization and attention to detail.


• Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.


• Proficient with automotive software and tools. We are currently using Tekion


• Valid driver's license.
